Getting Creative

I've been watching all the sneek pics and great layouts that are being prepared for CHA and it has triggered my mojo - finally!!!!!! I plan on playing this weekend after the grocery and cleaning and - well - you get the idea!

Last weekend I had to work on Saturday morning, but not at the office! We went to Mohican State Park for a presentation and this is the beautiful sunset we sat and watched Friday evening - then Don and I ventured up to Holmes County to a B & B for Saturday night - it was so relaxing! The food was yummy - the country side was just beautiful!

Well - it has been a very long time since I blogged! Life, work and being a grams has kept me busy and forgetful but I'm back - for today anyway!

Spring has finally hit Casstown!

Resolutions

So i it takes me a little longer to get around to starting my resolutions - one was to journal - not daily - just when I had something vital to put in writing - so I had to start somewhere!

A week ago today our dog Sadie was hit and killed by a car - she had been with us since July of 1999 - a sweet - loveable constant companion for me - she was a member of our family and I miss her dearly. So this week I've been trying to heal - and it isn't happening. The person who hit her didn't even stop - the guilt that would go with me if I had hit an animal would be horrid - but that is just me and the society we live in today isn't as it was 5 or even 10 years ago. So as part my healing I did this lo of her -
